Steps in Constructing Your Web Site
This is how a typical Web Site design project progresses:
Step 1 --Initiate Process
- You envision marketing your business or service on the Internet.
- You locate Superior Software Solutions, perhaps through
- Looking for a website designer on one of the search engines
- Receiving a personal referral from one of our satisfied customers
- Tripping over our website through a banner ad
- You read all the information on our website.
- You decide, "Hey, here's someone who CAN do the job."
Step 2 -- Make Contact
On the phone we discuss your vision
We develop a plan of how many pages you need, and how
we'll link them together. Here's where we decide how you'll attract
people to your site, and map out a strategy tailored to your needs
of marketing on the World Wide Web.
We'll help strategize your needs and requirements from a Web Host Provider and
set you up on one of our servers, if you so choose.
You print out on your printer three documents for our next phone conversation:
Over the phone we go through the Worksheet and Contract in detail. This way we have an excellent and accurate communication from the beginning, which saves problems later.
Step 3 -- Ship Materials
You ship (via mail or FedEx or any shipper) all your materials to us:
Step 4 -- Construction and Feedback
- We'll take the materials you send and put together a set of linked pages.
We'll upload a first draft to either your web host provider's computer, or our web site, if you haven't secured a web host provider as yet.
- We'll e-mail you the web address, and you take a look.
At this stage all you'll see are rough draft graphics. You e-mail us your feedback.
- We will take your company logo, photos, and instructions, and create the needed images.
We upload the latest graphics for your feedback.
We can make changes to the graphics at this point to suit your tastes.
Step 5 -- Fine-Tuning
- By this time you'll have your own web hosting provider account set up, and we'll transfer the pages to your host computer, and make sure everything works correctly on your server.
- You take a final, very careful, look at your web pages, and we make the final series of corrections to your pages. This phase often takes several passes before we're finished. We keep this up until we meet your satisfaction.
Step 6 -- Promoting
- We work together to develop a 25-word sentence or two (no more than 200 characters) describing your organization or business, using as many important keywords as possible. This goes at the top of your opening page for the Web search robots to see and index.
- You will e-mail us about 10 keywords for indexing, and as many as you want which we can hide in your opening page for a Web search robot to find and index.
- You send a check for your final installment.
- We'll register your Web site with all the most popular Web search engines and directories using the 25-word descriptive paragraph you decided upon and the key words.
- Within a few days to a few weeks the Web search engines will have listed you, and you can expect visitors to start coming to your site.
Step 7 -- Updating and Maintenance
- Over the next six months you can e-mail us whenever you want changes and updates to your web pages. Included in our package prices is one hour updating per page over the course of six months. Within a week of receiving your e-mail, we will have made the changes and uploaded the revised pages to your host computer.
Step 8 -- Telling a Friend
- We hope you'll be more than satisfied with the level of customer service you receive from

- When your friends or business associates ask who they can get to do great web pages for their organization or business, we hope you'll recommend Superior Software Solutions.
